Beautiful shop and presentation, so we had high hopes and picked out six cupcakes. Unfortunately, every one was disappointing. The cake was very dense and dry with a strange chemical/ultra-processed taste, almost like something from a vending machine. We even let them sit at room temperature for a few hours, but the texture and taste were still the same. What bothered me more was the handling. The cupcakes were picked up with bare hands after the employee had been typing and touching her phone, then placed directly on top of the fridge/counter before being boxed. She was also talking directly over the uncovered cupcakes. By the time we got home, we felt uncomfortable enough to scrape off the frosting before trying them. Really wanted to like this place, but the quality and food handling were both disappointing.

Absolute Perfection! Choosing Lily's Cakes! as THE bakery was one of our best wedding decisions! From the minute we met Lily, we knew she was the baker for us. We presented her with quite a challenge in the form of an Al generated cake that we fell in love with and asked her to bring it to life. Having seen her previous creations online, we knew we were in great hands. Lily perfectly captured our vision, ensuring all of the minor tweaks we wanted were perfectly detailed- the cakes were absolutely stunning and delicious. Sampling every single flavor was such a fun experience. Her staff is also amazing. On our many visits to the shop (don't worry, it's not our last), we had the opportunity to interact with her staff members and they all treated us like we were their only clients. Our guests are still raving about the beautifully curated cupcakes! Lily went above and beyond our expectations by personally delivering the cake to the venues and setting it up for a magnificent display. She even indulged us and posed for a picture with us and the cake. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend!

Paid almost $200 for this cake. Taste is subpar, the cake crumbled when we cut into it a bit, it wasn't just moist but super crumbly. There was minimal effort put into this cake and you can tell. It just wasn't all that great. A store bought cake would've tasted better and cost a heck of a lot less. This was by far not worth the trouble. It took forever to even get the order in, communication was terrible. My first time ordering a custom cake and I'll never do this again.

All the cupcakes look and taste good, but there is a strong chemical/cleaning supply taste in them. I also just read a similar review on Google, so it seems this may not be an isolated issue. I’m really sorry, but I don’t think I’ll be returning to this shop.

I ordered a 6-inch cake along with a dozen cupcakes from Lily’s Cakes Bakery for my son’s 5th birthday, and everything was perfect! The theme was Monster Jam, and they absolutely nailed it. The cake? 5/5 — beautifully decorated and delicious. The cupcakes? 5/5 — super cute and full of flavor. The service? 5/5 — friendly, professional, and easy to work with. I would recommend Lily’s Cakes Bakery over and over again — whether you’re placing a special order or just stopping in for one of their amazing cupcakes!
